Hm. Lots of things have happened over the last week, so much so that I can't believe a week has gone by--it seems like eons ago.

Made an offer on a house, they wouldn't budge, we couldn't afford it and have been re-thinking staying in Waterloo, deal fell through.
Had an exit interview for our youth worker job, went very well, hope they learn from the experience.
Realized I really miss talking to my confirmation mentor once a week. That intentional bible time and reading fed me.
Have been composing various e-mails to friends in my head over the last week, but then never manage to sit down and write them. I apologize if one of these e-mails was supposed to go to you.
I am bloody tired, but don't have any time to breathe at the moment. Even in those breathing times I'm not taking proper advantage of them.

Am hoping for better things coming up.

July 10th, 2009

So I am house-sitting for friends in July, away from my sweetie, and have this evening and tomorrow totally free. Barring brilliant blinding sunshine that I couldn't resist (well, I still could), I will be working on finishing two projects and getting some decent progress on a third. This is D-Day for these projects because I keep saying they will get done and I get so close to finishing, and then something else happens! Now I have no reason to say no. It means I will avoid being online all weekend, but I know the inter-web won't miss me too much!

I lost those 2lbs. I was so determined about, and then put 1/2 back on because of my period. Oh, being a woman! Oh well. My walk/run progress is going really well (part 3 of week 2 tomorrow!) and I'm looking forward to continuing. It feels so good! and I seem to have lots more energy, even if I'm really tired. Talked to Andie for 3 hours last night (after driving to TO at 6:30AM and talking til 1:30AM) and was up again at 6:30 this morning and I'm still able to function reasonably well. I will crash tonight, but no one's around and I can do it in between the watering (so, so much watering!) and will still have time to projectbust my weekend.

Only a few more days until Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince (the movie)!!! So excited. I haven't bought any tickets, but I'm assuming as long as I don't go down to Dundas Square or John & Richmond I should be able to get in somewhere. HP love!
